Willmott Dixon appoints new CFO

Willmott Dixon has appointed James Mackenzie as its new chief financial officer.

Mackenzie (pictured), who has previously held senior positions at Balfour Beatty, Berkeley Group and Kier, will also join Willmott Dixon’s main board.

He previously held the CFO post at Willmott Dixon’s joint-venture partnership with EcoWorld London for six years.

Willmott Dixon chief executive Graham Dundas said: “The main board and I already know him [Mackenzie] well from his previous role.

“He is closely aligned with our culture, values and ethos, and brings a lot of existing knowledge of Willmott Dixon.

“James’ breadth of experience will neatly complement our main board and we are really looking forward to working with him to deliver our future growth plans.”

Willmott Dixon is the main contractor on an ambitious regeneration project, Rail Heritage Quarter, as featured in a Construction News project report last month.

The project in the North East of England is expected to be ready to open by September 2025.
