If Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are on the verge of a breakup, they’re doing a good job at hiding it. Days after an unknown source used Snapchat to leak what looked like a document of how to roll out the end of their relationship from a PR perspective (supposedly from Kelce’s PR company), sources from both camps have denied the rumor, and we even have an update on how they’re doing (well).
Thanks to Reddit, snapshots of a media strategy for announcing a breakup went briefly viral, with sources claiming they planned to announce a split on September 28. “These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency,” the company told People. Meanwhile a source from Swift’s side told The Daily Mail, “Taylor was unbothered and quite amused by this. She usually pays these things no mind at all, but this was some hilarious AI realness. It isn’t even worth an actual reaction from her or her team.”
And seriously, they’re not laying the groundwork for a breakup. If anything, the opposite. Taylor Swift is reportedly going to the first Chiefs game of the NFL season. And Kelce is loving life in the Taylor-sized spotlight, even if he is the slightly less famous one in the relationship. He told CBS that as far as being the pop star’s arm candy goes, “It’s the life I chose, I guess. I have fun with it,” per Page Six. In fact, all the Kelces are apparently down for stardom. “Everyone’s loving it. Mama Kelce is having so much fun,” he added. “I think my dad is slowly getting more comfortable with it, and Jason has always been a pro at it.” With Kelce about to make his acting debut in an upcoming Ryan Murphy series and his hosting debut on an Amazon game show, we should hope so.
