Taylor Swift Met With Survivors of the Southport Stabbings That Left 3 Girls Dead

Taylor Swift just made two fans’ dreams come true after they lived through a nightmare.

Over the weekend, two young girls who survived the recent deadly stabbing at a Swift-themed yoga and dance class met with the 34-year-old pop star just before a London Eras Tour concert. “You drew stars around my scars 💫🥹 ….,” the girls’ mom Sami Foster captioned a series of photos from the meet-and-greet, quoting Swift’s Folklore track, “Cardigan.”

Dressed in her “Lover” bodysuit from the top of the show, Swift embraced Hope and Autumn Foster, who wore Red-themed T-shirts with various Swift related slogans. The rest of the Foster family also joined in for photos with Swift and her mom, Andrea.

“The biggest [thank you] to @Taylor Swift and her mum for making the most magical night possible for us all 🫶🏻,” Foster continued in the caption of her TikTok post, which was set to “Enchanted” from Swift’s album Speak Now. “[Thank you] for bringing Hope & Autumn pure happiness last night & always 💗💗💗.”

Just last month, three young girls were killed during a mass stabbing at the Swift-themed event in Southport, England, which took place on July 29. Bebe King, 6, Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, and Alice Aguiar, 9, lost their lives, while eight other children and two adults were injured. Police later arrested 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana for the stabbing, charging him with three counts of murder, 10 counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a weapon.

One day later, Taylor Swift took to Instagram to address the heartbreaking crime. “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”
