Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Just Nailed Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' Couples Style Method

After coordinating faux fur coats at a recent Kansas City Chiefs home game, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are bringing their cohesive style to New York City. On December 27, Swift and Kelce were spotted holding hands in New York City—and it seems they mastered Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold’s signature take on effortless couple dressing.

Instead of going too matchy-matchy, the married couple tends to opt for a similar color story or theme, often choosing just one item to bring their looks together, like their matching pink sneakers or green-lensed sunglasses.

Back in October, Lively and Reynolds even channelled the same Taylor Swift album on a double-date with the pop star and her NFL boyfriend. At the time, Swift and Kelce also appeared to dabble with subtle coordination, with Swift playing off of Kelce’s horse-print camp shirt by Jacquemus with an iconic Dior saddle bag. However, nothing else about his navy and white look appeared to match Swift’s chic black ‘fit and camel-colored coat.

Still, it seems Travis Kelce is beginning to dress with Taylor Swift’s looks in mind. On December 27, Swift opted for a nearly all-black outfit, pairing her miniskirt with diamond-patterned tights and square-toed platform boots by Versace. And just like last time, she topped off her New York uniform with a structured jacket, opting for Stella McCartney’s beige “crystal cage oversized blazer” for a festive touch of sparkle. (BTW, it’s currently on sale for $2750)

In new paparazzi photos from their New York City date night, the football player matched Swift’s energy in a black T-shirt and beige knit cardigan in a similar shade as her wool herringbone blazer. He paired the cozy sweater with khaki pants, brown dress shoes, and a black ‘Tribeca’ baseball hat.

This must be what happens when you reportedly “live everywhere together.”
