The shortlist for the CN Workforce Awards 2024 was unveiled today (15 August).
A total of 126 entries have been chosen across 21 categories. They were assessed by a panel of 33 judges drawn from a wide variety of disciplines across the construction sector.
Tier one contractors are represented in this year’s shortlist with entries from the likes of Balfour Beatty, Bowmer & Kirkland, Graham, McLaren and Vinci.
But the companies with the most shortlisted nominations – five each – are materials supplier Heidelberg Materials, construction products manufacturer Genuit Group and main contractor Myco Contracts.
Four firms each earned four shortlist places: housebuilder Berkeley Group, contractors GMI and Reds10, and structural steel specialist William Hare. Trade community forum On The Tools was also shortlisted in four categories.
The most contested award of the evening– Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year – includes 14 shortlisted entries.
Winners in each category will be announced at a celebratory black-tie dinner on 14 November, to be held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
