When you’re Rihanna, more is always more. Which is why she can wear the biggest coat known to man and pair it with the biggest pants known to man and still look incredible. Maybe it’s the chic curtain bangs that pull the whole look together.
In London on April 17, the “Needed Me” singer was photographed at the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty Earth Tone Launch Party wearing, appropriately, head-to-toe earth tones, from her bleached-blonde hair to her chunky sneakers. The maximalist ’fit included a boxy, oatmeal-colored jacket over a collared dress shirt in a darker shade of taupe, unbuttoned to reveal just a hint of cleavage.

Fashionwise, Rihanna has done it all, from wildly oversized ’fits to going practically nude. So which direction will she take her Met Gala look in a few weeks? She offered up a few hints at the event, telling British Vogue, “I’m gonna wear Fenty something! Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Savage….” But, she added, she will no longer be freeing the nipple. “I’ve done so much shit in my life. I’ve had my nipples out, my panties out,” she said, “but now those are the things which, I guess as a mum and an evolved young lady—emphasis on young—there are things I feel like I would never do. Like, Oh my God, I really did that? Nips out?”
Nipples or no nipples, whatever Rihanna wears, good money says we’ll be talking about it for months.
