It’s been a very long time since I’ve read the blue bloods series. I remembered a few characters, but that’s about it. This was one of my oldest books on my kindle so I decided to go with it. The beginning wasn’t pulling me in at all but I started liking it more about halfway through. I think if I read it right when it came out, I would have liked it a lot more. It just felt a bit dated. Nothing on the author. It is dated now and that’s on me. The book takes place ten years after the last one and everyone is an adult now. There were a couple girls found murdered and drained. No one knows who it is and Oliver is planning on having the first ball in ten years. There are pentagrams showing up. It’s a mess in NYC.
As I mentioned above, I really enjoyed the second half. So I gave this book 4 stars.
