This was probably my least favorite of the three books, but I still enjoyed it and didn’t want to put it down. It just felt rushed at the end. The ending was also done in a way that meant there could be more books, but this is the last one. Anne got a bit better with the boy situation in this one, but she was still a mess with it. She got to go back to school, but she spends her time trying to figure out what happened to Ms. C who was using a fake name. Anne thinks she might be dead and she wants to find out what happened to her. She’s hoping she’s alive and that someone has her. While looking into Natalie’s (Ms C) past, Anne thinks that she saw something she wasn’t supposed to see which leads her not only back to her school, but also a school for troubled boys that has been shut down for decades.
I gave this book 4 1/2 stars. It was probably closer to 4, but I decided to rate all three the same.
