This year has been especially significant for Moore, who starred in the acclaimed film The Substance—a performance that earned her a Golden Globe for Best Actress (her speech that night deserved an award of its own), a SAG award, and of course her Oscar nomination—which even though she didn’t win, didn’t take away from her impact.
And her appearance at the Met Gala 2025 adds to a string of memorable red carpet moments, not just this year at various awards ceremonies, but over the years on the Met Gala’s storied (not always red) carpet. In 2024, Moore stunned in a Harris Reed gown made from vintage wallpaper, adorned with hand-painted organza peonies, and accessorized with jewelry from Cartier’s Nature Sauvage collection.
