UPDATE: December 25, 2024, at 1:15 pm ET—So far, Taylor Swift has not been spotted at Acrisure Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Despite previous reports that the Swift family would be celebrating Christmas with the Travis Kelce, it appears the pop star did not join the NFL player in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So far, Swift has not attended any away games this seasons, partially due to her busy Eras Tour schedule. It’s also possible security concerns have played a part in her absences.
Even so, Swift has made a point to attend all but one home game in Kansas City—and she had a good excuse for missing the game on December 8, considering she was in Vancouver to perform her final Eras Tour concert ever!
With Swift absent from the stadium in Pittsburgh, it seems less likely she’ll make it to the Chiefs final game of the regular season against the Denver Broncos on January 5, though we can’t say for sure. Perhaps that’s why she delivered such a strong game-day ‘fit on December 21.
Of course, that’s probably not her final look of the NFL season. We’ve still got the playoffs to look forward to in the new year.
ORIGINAL STORY—Swifties watching football on Christmas Day will surely be keeping an eye out for Taylor Swift.
On December 25, the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium, located over 800 miles away from Travis Kelce’s home turf in Missouri. While Taylor has yet to attend an away game this season, her fans might be in for a Swiftmas miracle.
Earlier this month, Us Weekly reported that Taylor and Travis plan to spend the holiday with both of their families, despite the NFL player’s work schedule. While we can’t guarantee her attendance at the game, we all remember what happened after Donna Kelce said the pop star might be too “busy” to join the Kelces for Thanksgiving…
ICYMI, the Kelces reportedly ended up celebrating the holiday in Nashville with the Swifts. “Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families,” a source told People, “It’s the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together.”
