After Selena Gomez dirty danced with her Emilia Pérez co-star Ãdgar RamÃrez at a Sabrina Carpenter concert, her fans went into a full tailspin trying to figure out if she’d crossed a line, broken up with Benny Blanco, or intentionally stirred the pot.
The truth, it turns out, is neither as exciting nor salacious as all that. Girl just likes to boogie.
Shortly after the video of Gomez and RamÃrez dancing together was posted, and then deleted, by Gomez’s bff Connar Franklin, the actor herself posted, and then deleted, an Instagram Story of herself with RamÃrez at a different event, writing, âomg how dare I dance with my bestie,â and adding a âshocked faceâ emoji. And uh, that’s all, folks! Sel and Ed are friends who like to dance, she’s still with Benny Blanco, all is well in the land of Gomez. Just a month ago, she was singing Blanco’s praises to Vanity Fair, telling the mag, âIâve never been loved this way.â
âHeâs just been a light. A complete light in my life,â she added. âHeâs my best friend. I love telling him everything.â Well, her bestie besides RamÃrez. Best friend isn’t a person, it’s a tier.
