LAS VEGAS — Shakur Stevenson picked up the vacant WBC lightweight title with a unanimous-decision victory over Edwin De Los Santos via scores of 115-113, 116-112 and 116-112 in the main event of a Top Rank on ESPN card on Thursday at T-Mobile Arena. Stevenson didn’t celebrate after that fight and said it was a bad performance and he needs to reassess himself.
In the co-main event, WBO junior lightweight champion Emanuel Navarrete and perennial contender Robson Conceicao fought to a majority draw.
Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs), is a former featherweight and junior lightweight champion.
